Description of CDA Jobs

This Project Director job is totally contract basis and the salary will be equal to PPS-09.

Qualifications for the Candidate:

The qualifications for the job are BSc or B.E (16 years). The degree should be in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Candidates who passed the Master’s degree in Construction or Project Management will be preferred. Additionally, it is mandatory for the candidate to be registered as a Professional Engineer with the (PEC) Pakistan Engineering Council.

Age for Candidates:

The candidate’s age should not be more than 50 years on the closing date.

Relevant Experience:

1. A minimum of 15 years of professional experience is a must in the field of construction, specifically experienced in high-rise buildings, bridges, highways, sewerage water treatment plants (STP), water supply projects, or similar areas.
2. At least 5 years of experience should be in a leading role like Project Director.
3. Candidates with experience in the Govt. sector/organizations or departments will be Preferred.
4. Candidate should have a proven track record of successfully completing relevant projects in a career.

5. Excellent knowledge of Budgeting, Execution, etc.
6. Project Management (Planning. Organizing.
7. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and Primavera. A team leader committed to achieving the overall objectives of the project.

Responsibilities Regarding Duties:

Overall responsible for the project implementation, Review of Design, Specifications, Estimation, Bidding Documents, etc.

Construction Management
Preparation of project budget, PC-I, PC-ll, etc.

Contract Administration: Contract Administration of Construction and Consultancy Contracts Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a weekly basis.

Site Safety: Monitor site safety and ensure that the requirement of the Occupational Health
and Safety standards are enforced.

Quality Standards: Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control.

Presentation: Representing to Clients at different forums Coordination with Project stakeholders
Preparation of Project progress briefs, reports, etc.
