Instructions to apply for the Jobs Announced at Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC)
The following information is provided regarding the eligibility criteria and application process for vacancies advertised by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC):
i. The general age limit for the advertised vacancies has already been extended by 5 years. However, candidates may also apply for other forms of age relaxation under the Establishment Division.
ii. 08 vacancies are reserved for disabled persons, and candidates with a disability certificate from the Federal/Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons and CNIC of disabled persons will be considered against the vacancies reserved for persons with disabilities quota.
iii. Persons with disabilities are also eligible for an age relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit. First vacancies will be filled from the persons with disabilities quota merit list, subject to a fitness report regarding the work of the disabled candidates. Thereafter, the remaining posts will be filled from the general merit list.
iv. Up to 50% of vacancies in posts in BS-1 to 4 will be reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
v. Candidates must submit a separate online application for each post they apply for. The application must be submitted through the FPSC website, www.fpsc.gov.pk, subject to eligibility criteria, no later than 25.04.2023.
vi. Applications submitted by hand or post will not be entertained. Applicants who are already in service must also apply through the proper channel. Applicants must indicate their preferred test centers, i.e., Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Karachi, and Peshawar. The department reserves the right to call candidates for tests and interviews at any center.
vii. Candidates must visit the FPSC website from time to time for test/interview updates. Admission certificates for the written test will be available for download from the FPSC website, and candidates may also be notified via SMS.
viii. Candidates must bring the downloaded copy of their Admission Certificate along with their original CNIC to the time of the test/interview.
ix. The competent authority reserves the right to fill any number of the advertised vacancies.
x. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
