Ministry of Water Resources Jobs 2023, The Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) is looking for experienced consultants to lead a reforms process aimed at optimizing the functioning of various departments and organizations under its administrative umbrella.
The reforms process will focus on addressing challenges related to water shortage scenarios, resource allocation, climate change impacts, flood and drought management, coordination of work between national and provincial organizations, and implementation of bilateral and multilateral agreements.
The MoWR is looking for a Lead Consultant with a degree in Law and at least 20 years of diversified experience in policy making and implementation, project development, HR restructuring, and drafting rules and regulations.
The consultant will be responsible for conducting a needs assessment and gap analysis in legal policy and human resource frameworks, reviewing water sector statutes and policies, and leading the development of amendments and improvements in accordance with national market dynamics and best practices.
The Lead Consultant will also conduct an HR audit and develop new relations where necessary while acting as a focal coordinating point between various organizations and the MoWR.
Additionally, the MoWR is seeking a Program/Team Coordinator with at least 8 years of experience in project management, program coordination, and IT support. The Coordinator will assist the Lead Consultant in developing action plans, working papers, and maps, as well as organizing workshops and seminars.
