SSGC (Sui Southern Gas Company) Karachi, Sindh Province Pakistan announce an advertisement dated 25th April 2023 in the daily “Dawn Newspaper”. The candidate must have qualifications up to Bachelor, B.E and BS.
Assistant Engineer Pipeline Instrumentation
The candidates that want to apply for the Assistant Engineer Pipeline Instrumentation must be qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Industrial Electronics Engineering, and 3 to 5 years of experience in instrumentation. The candidate should have a strong command of the installation and commissioning of regulation setups, as well as the maintenance of control valves, flow computers, regulators, safety valves, and transmitters.
Assistant Engineer Gas Control
The Candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer Gas Control are required to be a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum and Gas Engineering. Interested candidates should have experience of at least 2-3 years in the Operational or Process Industry and should have working knowledge of SCADA/DCS/PLC. Candidates with prior experience in shift duties will be preferred.
Inspection Engineer
The candidates for the Inspection Engineer post with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering. The candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of post-qualification experience, with a preference for those who have worked in Oil & Gas.
Assistant Engineer Operations
The qualifications that are given below are required for the candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer Operations.
BE in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering and at least 2-4 years of working experience in commissioning, startup, controlling, and monitoring of machine parameters in gas control rooms of gas turbines/gas compressors at gas plants, compressor stations, and petrochemical plants.
Assistant Engineer Data Analyst
Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering are required for the post of Assistant Engineer Data Analyst and also with 2-3 years of experience in data science. Candidate should have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data. Candidates should also have a basic understanding of databases such as Oracle.
Deputy Chief Engineer
A graduate of Engineering in Petroleum/Electronic/Mechanical/Chemical and Gas is required for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer is described for selection. The candidate is also required to experience at least 10 years in the field of Gas & Oil.
